The Outdoor School Experience...

...is offered to schools, scouts, guides and other groups who have a love of nature and a passion for learning. The Outdoor School is located in Brae Island Regional Park, Fort Langley, BC. We’re minutes for the beautiful village of Fort Langley (close enough to the cappuccinos!) Whether your group is looking for just accommodation and meals or would like to participate in one of our amazing programs we can customize the experience for you!


Day Trip (minimum 30 children):

Day Trips would be ideal for schools, a Day Care program on Pro-D Days, or a weekend Youth Group outing. Children would arrive by bus and have the option to participate in onsite programs or use the site for their own programming. Arrival after 9:00am. Departure before 3:30pm.

OPTION A	Site Use only			$10 per person
OPTION B	Site Use, Lunch			$15 per person
OPTION C	Site Use, 2-1.5 hour programs*		$20 per person
OPTION D	Site Use, Lunch, 2-1.5 hour programs*	$25 per person

*Programs include any land based activity (see below). $3 extra per person for a water based activity.


After-School/ Evening Programs (minimum 15 children):

This option is ideal for any After-School Child Care Centre or evening Youth Group. The group would arrive and participate in 1.5 hours of activities.

OPTION A	Hay Ride and Games Workshop	$9 per person
OPTION B	Hay Ride and Campfire	$9 per person
OPTION C	Voyageur Canoe Experience	$15 per person

2 Night - 3 Day Experience (for 30 children):

    This package includes:
  • Group camping area including covered shelter and campfire pit
  • 3 Tent Cabins with 5 sets of bunk bets in each (each tent cabin sleeps 10 children)
  • 1 to 2 Teacher Cabins (depending on need)
  • Meals:
    • 1st Day (Day of arrival) - Dinner, Evening Snack
    • 2nd Day - Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Evening Snack
    • 3rd Day (Day of departure) - Breakfast, Packed Lunch
  • Activities are at an additional charge (see below)

$120/per person
1 Adult for every 10 children free (up to 3 adults)

We are more then happy to include a Parent/Teacher presentation for booked groups.


On site Programs:

Our programs are fun and unique. We include supplies and 1 leader per each activity. We require 1 teacher to accompany their students to each activity to assist with the supervision. 30 children are split into two groups of 15. Each program will offer one activity session per group of 15.

We are pleased to be involved in such an amazing community. Our partnerships with local businesses, museums, cultural groups, and zoos’ make for a truly unique experience. Where else can you Kayak in the morning, have lunch at a zoo, and enjoy an evening campfire within the birth place of BC?
